Yair Elazar Glotman Introduces the Sound of The Last House With “Entering 11817”

Yair Elazar Glotman has released “Entering 11817,” the first single from his original score for Netflix’s upcoming film The Last House, directed by Louis Leterrier.

The track offers the first glimpse into a deeply atmospheric score that Glotman has been developing over the past year. Recorded with full orchestra at AIR Studios in London in February 2026, the music for The Last House brings together intimate string textures, lyrical orchestral writing, and the distinctive sonic language that has shaped Glotman’s work as both a neoclassical artist and screen composer.

“Entering 11817” opens the soundtrack with a sense of mystery, restraint, and emotional weight. The piece introduces a musical world that is both fragile and expansive, balancing close, tactile string writing with the scale and sweep of orchestral storytelling.

The score marks a powerful new chapter in Glotman’s artistic evolution. His years of work alongside the late Jóhann Jóhannsson helped shape a deep sensitivity to texture, tone, and atmosphere, qualities that continue to resonate throughout his own body of work. With The Last House, Glotman expands that language into a stunning orchestral score that feels intimate, cinematic, and boldly forward-looking.

“Entering 11817” is the first track from The Last House soundtrack, with the full album releasing August 7 alongside the film.
