About Kevin Korn
Kevin Korn is a talent agent and music industry advocate with two decades of experience shaping the careers of some of film and television's most distinctive compositional voices.
Korn’s relationship with music began early. He played saxophone and several other instruments before earning a degree in Music Composition from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He launched his career at CAA, working in the music crossover department and helping recording artists make the leap into film composition. During that time, he co-founded SYNCH THIS, a networking collective for the film and TV music community that has since grown to more than 2,750 members worldwide.
At 25, Korn became one of the youngest film music agents in history when he joined the prestigious Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency. What set him apart was his ear.
He has a gift for recognizing compositional voices that haven’t yet found their moment, signing artists early and doing the patient, deliberate work of building careers from the ground up. His roster grew to include the late Jóhann Jóhannsson, Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee and Oscar winner Steven Price. Other notable clients included Sarah Schachner, Joseph Trapanese, Ryan Lott of Son Lux, Alex Somers, Anthony Gonzalez of M83 and Eskmo. The through line is always the same: find the artist before the moment finds them and build something that lasts. In 2013, Variety named Korn to its annual New Hollywood Leaders feature list.
In 2019, Korn founded Like Minded Management, a licensed boutique talent agency based in Los Angeles. He now brings that same instinct and hands-on approach to a new generation of composers, while building an agency infrastructure that embraces the tools and technology shaping the future of the industry. In a business that is changing faster than ever, Korn remains focused on one thing: finding extraordinary artists and making sure the world hears them.
