SØS Gunver Ryberg is an internationally award winning composer, sound artist and live performer known for her releases and also her extensive compositional and soundtrack. She has been awarded several times for her music and significantly a BAFTA nomination for her work on the multi award winning video game INSIDE.

Recently her orchestral and electronic piece COEXISTENCE was recorded by the BBC Symphony Orchestra and released on Platoon.

SØS Gunver Ryberg has composed for video games, films, 360 immersive experiences, VR/AR, opera, orchestra, multichannel works, installations, international theatre and dance productions.

Combining orchestral composition with electronic composition, SØS Gunver Ryberg creates scores that are deeply connected to the emotional and sensory experience of film. Her music is driven by narrative, atmosphere and character, using the orchestra for its expressive nuance while extending its sonic possibilities through electronics. The result is a distinctive cinematic language that can move seamlessly between beauty, tension, fragility and intensity.

SØS Gunver Ryberg performs her music at festivals and venues all over the worlds such as Venice Biennale, Berlin Philharmonie concert hall, Danish National Radio concert hall, Aphex Twin Curates, Berghain, Atonal Festival, Roskilde Festival, Flow Festival etc. to art galleries and museums and site-specific locations such as an underground water reservoir, a subway train, a swimming pool, a abandon power station and an old industrial ship to name a few.
