KENNEDY

Rachael Kennedy is a Grammy Award-Winning songwriter and has emerged as a multi-disciplinary force across music, film, and television — seamlessly bridging the worlds of songwriting, production, composition, and artistry. Beyond her work as a hitmaker for some of today’s biggest global artists (Calvin Harris, Charlie Puth, Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Rauw Alejandro, Bebe Rexha, Galantis), she has built an expanding presence in screen and sync. She recently composed the theme song and scored all 26 episodes of Nickelodeon’s Emmy-nominated animated series Wylde Pak alongside her production team LIONCHLD, and wrote two original songs featured in the coming-of-age indie film POOLS starring Odessa A’zion and Ariel Winter.

Hailing from the suburbs of Toronto, Rachael knew after writing her first song at the angsty age of 14, that she was going to be a songwriter. She signed her first artist development deal with Warner Music Canada at 18 while completing her second year of college. While she loved school and plans to go back for a philosophy degree later in life, she realized she could not give school and a music career 100% of her efforts at the same time. So she quit college, moved back home, and worked 3 jobs to save up enough money to move to LA at 21.

Alongside her behind-the-scenes success, Rachael is now stepping into the spotlight with her artist project, KENNEDY — a raw, genre-blurring venture that fuses alternative pop, cinematic songwriting, and emotionally unfiltered storytelling. Though still in its early stages, the project has already landed placements on major Spotify editorial playlists including Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Pop, Noteable, Anti Pop, and Fresh Finds Canada. She most recently features on Slushii’s latest single “Should’ve Known Better”.

At the core of Rachael’s artistry is an emotional honesty that drives everything she creates. A deeply introspective and emotionally attuned creative, she draws inspiration from both the beauty and devastation of the human experience. Having navigated profound life changes and the loss of loved ones, her music carries an intimacy and emotional weight that resonates far beyond genre. Whether writing for other artists, composing for screen, or creating under her own project, Rachael brings a rawness and vulnerability to any room she enters.
